GOSSiP: Barrymore Strokes Courtney..
sclit by Septic Clit January 8th, 2003
Ah, misleading headlines, dontcha luv 'em... anyway, a wedding, a funeral and a movie with racoon dicks..

You may have heard this already, but tis IMPORTANT gossip! Yes, Drew Barrymore, she who dies in the opening of Scream 1 and recently Executive Producer of the ace Donnie Darko, is to marry The Strokes drummer, Fabrizio Moretti. Why? We're not 100% sure - could be just for publicity, who knows. Needless to say, hearts will be broken on both sides of the gender lines.

In other gossip, Courtney Loves manager has totally denied that she made a scene at Joe Strummers funeral last week. Firstly she did not make a fuss about not getting in and then secondly, rather disturbingly, she did not, as reported, "throw herself onto Strummers corpse". These reports, we'd guess, are acid flashbacks from some of the assembled punkz or maybe they're true - who knows, anyone who could flog their ex-husbands diary has to be pretty outta control. Or maybe she just gets over-excited at funerals?

In other Courtney news, she's to appear alongside Angelina Jolie in the movie adaption of Jt Leroy's book 'Sarah'. The film, directed by Gus Van Sant is about a 12-year-old boy who idolizes his truck-stop whore mother and with a racoon penis around his neck, takes on her name and pretends to be a girl... it's a brilliant book if you're looking for something to read.

DiScuss: Did Courtney do all those things? How ace is JT Leroy? Are you broken hearted? Is this all just more PR shenanigans at a quiet time of year?
