Seafood album #3: "We're near the completion treatment"
shadyadie by [redacted] March 16th, 2003
SEAFOOD bassist Kevin Hendrick has given DiS the lowdown on the band’s new album, the follow up to 2001’s ‘When Do We Start Fighting’.

The band have been demoing tracks in their own studio, and will spend April and May recording the tracks for the album proper.

Kev tells us: “Work continues on Album Three. Heart and Soul in a good vice. This week we are flat out to not deny the influence of country music. We got a banjo on the go. Or at least Kev P has, or at least things would swing a whole lot more if I didn't leave the banjo along with my mind behind at a sweaty Vermont (my friend Adey's pop group) gig in Kentish Town. But that's a tune without a name and you want song titles don't you?
“Well, here's one:
’Between the Noise’. This is total Dave/Caz vocal assault. This needs rejigging. It could go in different directions; like Gang of Four ‘Anthrax’ or not like that at all, could quite simply be such a pop song. Who knows?
“There's a ton of music here actually. Like us, the titles are working. We're hearing an album here, it's all very exciting. I'll keep it a bit secret then... we're near the completion treatment. Can't wait....”

No release date or such as yet, but in the meantime you can get other regular updates from the band on their official website.
