Festival organiser Michael Eavis has vowed to kick some touts’ butts. Anyone selling tickets online will suffer the same fate as the Radiohead touts, and have their auctions pulled.
He told Radio 1: "eBay [online auctioneers] apparently can stop the sale of the tickets that are being offered at these extortionate prices. We do have a system of actually preventing those tickets being sold at those prices. The actual tickets won't be issued until a fortnight before the actual event, you see."
Rumours are unfounded that the sudden increase of tickets up for sale has had something to with Moby being added as headliner instead of Prince.
