It has been revealed that Pizzicato 5 will be splitting at the end of March. Formed in 1984 they have treated us over the years with their own brand of experimental pop/dance. They will be playing a final gig on 31st March in Tokyo called Don't cry, no tears, no fears. Comin' your way - Pizzicato Five 1985-2001 Live. A greatest hits album is to be released called Pizzicato Five RIP. Big Hits and Jet Lags 1998-2001.
However it's not all sad news as P5 founder members Konishi Yasuharu and Takanami Keitaro will still carry on with their solo projects with future collaborations.
