MUSE: Download The New Single 'Stockholm Syndrome'
sean by Sean Adams July 14th, 2003
Muse defy the idea that singles have to be in thin little cases...

The UK's most exciting and influential rock band in decades, have fully embraced the year of the download! They've managed to keep the ability to pay their team of producers, designers, management and the like, whilst giving fans what they want (a taste of the new album - dur!) and they also manage to get a bit of cash for their art too... who said all downloads have to be theft?

The single is ‘Stockholm Syndrome’; it's taken from the band’s third studio album - tentatively titled 'Absolution' - due for release September 2003. The single rocks like a laser-blasting, noize-driven, space-age adaptation of Phantom of the Opera.

How To Get The MP3 Single
You can pay via the nifty method of reverse SMS at a charge of £1.50 (which includes the telephone company fee) or by credit card for a quid. You can then burn the mp3 once and also download the exclusive artwork in Windows Media Format.

To get your copy of this single, you shoulda come here before August 11th 2003 when the download was available.

DiScuss: What do you think of the single then? Is this method of single purchase the way for the future? Can you really justify downloading track after track for free when it may mean your favourite acts getting dropped because of poor record sales?
