OK, so here's this year's list of nominees and winners (in bold). As usual the UK was woefully overlooked, represented only by Coldplay, Radiohead and suprise winners Duran Duran, who picked up a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award.
Veteran country star Johnny Cash received six nominations for the video to his current single, 'Hurt', but failed to make it on the day after being hospitalised earlier this week. He won award one for best cinematography.
Perhaps the most interesting features of the event were Jun from Big Brother USA's appearance and Madonna and Britney getting off with each other on stage. Could it get any mooore exciting?
