Apple Corp Ltd, the Beatles' self-management company set up in 1968, claims that the iTunes store breaks the terms of a 1991 agreement in which Apple computers agreed to only use the Apple name and logo on computer products. The management company is seeking an injunction and unspecified penalties against the computer company.
A statement released by Apple computers said: "Unfortunately, Apple and Apple Corps now have different interpretations of this agreement and will need to ask a court to resolve this dispute"
