Yes folks, the reaction to Bloated Idol is totally and utterly in full swing, as we've heard the first great song of the year 'Take Me Out' by Franz Ferdinand, is in at Number 2 in the Uk Charts Singles Midweek. These midweeks are not completely offical or published anywhere, and only represent sales from day of release, Monday 12th January 2004, but several reliable industry insiders have tipped DiS the nod about this truly exciting news.
A copy of their much-hyped self-titled debut album arrived at DiS towers last week and we can safely say it's the first British debut in a longwhile to truly deliver what's expected when it arrives on February 9th.
