Win! Tickets to Europe's Best Alternative Festival!
crablin by Colin Roberts June 8th, 2006

You NEED to be at this festival, how about we save you a bit of money along the way...?

Dour is Europe's best alternative music festival and here at DiS, we're more than a little excited about the line-up this year. Four days, a ridiculous amount of diverse, interesting bands and all in Belgium - so the beer's that little bit cheaper. It's 13-16th July 2006, y'know.

For the full line-up and more behind the scenes info, click here to magically 'hyperlinked' to the Dour festival competitions page. Be aware though, the line up includes ...Trail of Dead (pictured), Primal Scream, Art Brut, Dandy Warhols, Mercury Rev, Giant Drag, Two Gallants, Animal Collective, Jimmy Edgar and a load more. Plus, DiS will be there, so you can throw eggs at me in a completely different country! I'm not even yolking here!

So anyway, we've got five (count 'em) pairs of weekend camping tickets to give away, meaning you can jump on a Eurostar for £50, and get coach transfers for €3, straight to the site and that's all you'll have to pay. Just answer this question, here, below:
"...And You Will Find Us By The Trail Of Bread" is an humorous Hansel & Gretel-related alternative name for a band on the Dour bill, but can you send me an equally intelligent pun for another artist on the line-up?

Answers on an e-card(mail) with the subject line 'I am fat' to editor [at] drownedinsound [dot] com, entries with the incorrect subject line will be disregarded, competition closes sometime soon, my decision is final, I am god.

We'll see you there...
