he members of left-field indie rap group anti-pop consortium, following their highly influential arrhythmia, disbanded and began putting out solo records in 2002. beans had a string of successful records, and high priest and m sayyid released an album together as airborn audio. following this seven-year hiatus, the consortium is back with the first of two records planned for release on the big dada label. in a statement, the group said, "we needed time to grow and mature as artists individually. now that we have assessed our strengths and weaknesses, we are ready to re-form stronger and better than we have ever been before."
