This is an album, which to appreciate it's full impact requires absolutley no distraction. Once again Brett and Rennie Sparks prove their extreme creative compatability. Brett's musical talent, and adept workings of modern technology in the use of Pro Tools give a deceiving edge to this progressive sound which brings Country firmly into the Millenium.

With creeping Nashville pace, Brett's mature vocal smooths the edges off Rennie's ambiguous lyrics. Her Larkin - like, often glum and in depth observations of nature and life are tinged with irony and humour. Uplifting intrigue is added to this work of almost spiritual colloboration as our eyes are opened to the duo's often warped glimpse of the bigger picture, a higher power, a delicate reminder of all we have to be grateful for in the form of the basics of creation and the things which truly matter.
