If you’re looking for the UK’s answer to Drowningman then this young sextet have all the pummelling riffs played with staggering precision, and couple them with those screamy-melodic vocals to worthy such a claim. As the first track leaps out & begins the aural equivalent of a punch in the face you’re almost forced to sit up and take note of their compelling new formula which, with the addition of a Dj and vocalist Will’s super strong Brandon Boyd tendencies, could see the coining of the term ‘nu-hardcore’.
Indeed, AT bridge the gap between rap and math metal with ease and pull off some truly incredible choruses in the two tracks on offer. And this is helped in no small part by its professional-sounding production.
Fortunately, they can also pull these tracks off live as those who’ve witnessed their awesome live shows recently will testify. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of this lot before too long if labels like Household Name have any sense.
They get around a bit so check out their website for details of any forthcoming gigs.
