This is how we like it. A nice brick of misanthropy wrapped up in the sheen of a giant, stadium-rocking pop song.
Listen intently beyond OK GO's buzzsaw guitars and squealing organs and you'll find a singer - Semiotics major Damian Kulash - spitting out lines of wonderfully vitriolic abuse: "_ain't it just a bitch/what a pain/well its all a crying shame/nothing left to do/but complain/better find someone to blame_".
It sounds like The Dandy Warhols without the smug self-awareness or Weezer without the emotionally stunted self-abuse. It makes me want to take a machete down to Shoreditch. It sounds like the best tune to sear through my radio mid-afternoon in a long time.
