The great thing about Hundred Reasons is that they don't try to be clever. They don't write songs that'll surprise you with strange time changes, they don't write lyrics you can't make sense of, and they don't write songs with bad raps in them. They make solid, unpretentious rock music.
Returning with 'The Great Test', they give us a jumpy, upbeat choon akin to 'I'll Find You', and with all the infectiousness of the chart-shagging 'Silver'. Humongous guitar riffs, hooks big enough to catch even Jaws, and a raucous beat that makes you want to bounce, bounce, and, goddammit, _keep on bouncing_.
You've heard it before: they're not redefining the genre, they're not breaking the mould. It's wonderfully timed, perfectly executed, and as energetic as you like.
Business as usual, then.
