In the grand scheme of things, Bis and The Rezillos will never sit side by side with the likes of Radiohead and Pink Floyd as "thee great influences of the 21st Century musician". But maybe they should...

And What Will Be Left Of Them? certainly think so. 'The Dance, Damn You, Dance EP' is like a pink day-glo invitation - make that direct action instructive - to do what it says on the cover. Except that it's actually quite cuddly and sweet and poppy when you reach its soft textured centre.

Opening with the stop-start pogo on icing sugar that is 'L'Amour Violent', which recalls pre-smack phase Elastica at their finest before the title track's feelgood bit of the winter kicks in. 'Throw It In The Pit, Kid' sees vocalist Red White (really!) coming on all Manda Rin without the annoying squealing while closer 'Dripping Wet' is essentially a love song for the debauched and defrocked. Hmmm. Delicious.

So what will be left of them? Plenty more little gems like this I hope...
