The poll took in some 500 tracks, and was voted for by 72 musicians. Only two artists from this decade appeard in the poll - Eminem and OutKast. Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' and 'Stan' made numbers 166 and 290 respectively, whilst 'Hey Ya' crashed at 180.
'Satisfaction' by, um, The Rolling Stones made number two (starting to see a trend here), whilst John Lennon's godawful 'Imagine' made three. Trend scuppered. Number four was Marvin Gaye's 'What's Going On', and five was 'Respect' by Aretha Franklin.
The full list is published in this week's issue. So there.
