WIN! Chance to see Get Cape play in a venue the size of a fireplace
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver September 5th, 2006

A pretty large fireplace, but whatever.

Sam Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly Duckworth is playing two gigs on the same night at London's Betsey Trotwood venue. Now, if you've been there, you'll understand the fireplace comparison; if not, it's very small.

This is probably, literally, maybe, almost certainly the final chance anyone will have of seeing Mr Get Cape perform in a teeny-weeny venue. And DiS has tickets. Tickets to give you. Yes, you. Not you, though. Why? Because you smell of old people. The gig, it's next Monday. That's September 11.

Sam is performing at both 7.30 and 8.30 in the evening. We've a pair of tickets to give away to each performance. Therefore, all entrants should specify which performance they'd rather attend, 7.30 or 8.30.

Easy? Easy.

So, how do you win? Simply answer the following question...

The Betsey Trotwood regularly serves Spitfire by the pint, a most pleasant tipple brewed by Britain's oldest brewery, Shepherd Neame. But which of the following ales is also brewed by the excellent Kentish booze-makers...
A) Pornographers Flange?
B) Bishops Finger?
C) Saddam's Disdain?

Simply send your answer, with a contact phone number and the performance time you prefer, to...

...by Friday September 8. Please write 'I fear no beer' in the subject line. THANKS.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly's debut album, The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager, is released through Atlantic on September 18. Directions to The Betsey Trotwood can be found here.
