DiScover Club: Consider this a reminder...
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver October 20th, 2006

You know, when we book bands, we book them so you can enjoy them as much as we do. And we really enjoy these bands, the ones mentioned below. So come out and see them, yeah? Cool. Ta.

Tomorrow - that's October 21, 2006 - DiS is holding another DiScover Club: what that means, in a proverbial nutshell, is that we present to you some really really good new(ish) bands, and you see them and hear them and dance to them. And stuff. Maybe you'll have a drink, too. I find it aids the dancing.

Here's a very brief summary of what's going down - click here for further details.

The when: October 21, 4pm-8pm

The where: Notting Hill Arts Club, London (link!)

The what: It's FREE entry; over-18s only

The how: Take the Tube, it's easy. Get off at Notting Hill Gate (Central, District, Circle). Bingo!

The who:
Blood Red Shoes
Jairus
(pictured; DiScover Jairus here)
They Don't Sleep (DiScover They Don't Sleep here)

MySpace links for every band can be found here.

On the decks, before the bands and between them, will be DiS's own Chris Alcxxk and Mike Diver. Expect songs that are good. That's good. Various drinks offers are available at the bar, but try not to get too piddled. They kick you out at eight, and there are stairs to climb...
