Mike_Diver by Mike Diver October 31st, 2006

Take That (pictured) picked up a Q Idol Award at the magazine's annual awards bash yesterday, only be be called "bollocks" by fellow winners Arctic Monkeys. Ooooh, someone wash those boys' mouths out!

The Monkeys took home trophies in the Best Album and People's Choice categories. Their singer, Alex Turner, said of the reformed boyband:

"I'm not old enough to know a lot [about] them, but even I know that Take That were bollocks."

Noel Gallagher of Oasis - who won in the vategory of Best Act In The World Today - commented that a member of Take That had asked where his brother Liam was.

"One of Take That just said to me outside, 'Is your kid here?' and I went 'You'd have known about it if he was, mate'."
