Rumours spread like some kind of fire in the wild, or something, with radio stations across the country saying that Spears had been admitted for a caesarean.
Well, um, they were wrong. Whoops.
"Britney Spears has not given birth. She's not even in hospital. The baby is due some time in the next month," said Spears' spokeswoman.
Could this rapid-spreading, widespread report certainty have anything to do with the fact that Spears is launching a new perfume? A perfume that just happens to be called Fantasy. Y'know, like something that isn't real, or true. Nah, probably not.

Well, seems she has had her wee baby boy, and Preston Michael Spears Federline is his name. No comment from officials at the hospital, but Spears did indeed have a caesarean yesterday (14/9).
DiS obviously wishes mother and son, and husband Kevin (Preston is his third child), all the best.
