DrownedinSound.com - hello, you'e reading us - is very pleased to announce that we'll be extending our fingers of festival fun across onto continental Europe again this summer.
In addition to our involvement at Norway's Hove Festival - click here for the latest news on that fancy bill - we'll also be running about the Dour Festival in Belgium, shouting about indie-rock bands 'til our voices give out. I.e. we'll be 'doing' a stage on one of the four days. Mmmm.
A four-day ticket to the Dour Festival - held from July 12 'til July 15 - costs just 75 of your Euros. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a bargain. The festival's based in Dour - d'uh - at an old mining site. Dour is close to the French border.
For loads more information, and to buy tickets for the event, click to its website here. Confirmed acts so far include:
Dave Clarke
Agoria
The Notwist
Erase Errata
Tiefschwarz
The Cinematic Orchestra
Goldie
Les Cautionneurs
No Means No
Converge
Tokyo Ska Paradise
Tony Rebel & Warrior King & Queen Ifrica
Music runs from 11am 'til 5am; around 200 bands are expected to appear, across six stages. Nice.
