DiScover

DiScover Club thanks & next show reminder!
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver March 5th, 2007

Here we are again: one DiScover Club show down and a brand-new one already peeking over the horizon.

Thanks to all readers that came to our once-a-month DiScover Club show on Saturday March 3, at London's Notting Hill Arts Club. I'm sure all attendees will agree that the line-up was very rocking; more so, even, than re-watching the finest movies of my youth (yes, that's The Goonies and Transformers: The Movie, basically). I'd like to extend my personal thanks to twentysixfeet, October All Over and An Emergency for being beyond excellent, and Ben at Wichita for playing some neat hip-hop 'tween bands. Thanks, all.

While backs are being patted, why not strike while the iron's hot? We've another AWESOME show for you next month, once again coming your way in conjunction with the lush folks at Rough Trade Shops. On April 14, the Arts Club plays host to the fantastic Prego (pictured), Sky Larkin (not pictured), and some very special special guests. We'd reveal more but, frankly, it'd spoil the surprise. Plus there's probably a clue here... somewhere.

Those details for April 14, then:

DiScover Club & RoTa, in association with Rough Trade Shops
at Notting Hill Arts Club, London (website)

Playing live:
PREGO (MySpace)
SKY LARKIN (MySpace)
SPECIAL GUESTS (not MySpace)

Plus DiS DJs; doors 4pm-8pm; FREE ENTRY; over-18s only

Will we see you there? We sure as sh*t hope so! Add date to your gig calendar here.
