If it's not NME then it's Music Week - you (well, I) can't seem to turn a music rag page without seeing The Twang staring back at me. But for every high-five the Brummies have received in the press, they've taken a good kick in the balls, too.
And it turns out they're nay bothered. Who'd have thought?
Bassist Jon Watkin told website Gigwise.com: "A lot of people will hate us, but I think we’ve got good songs. The music always does the talking don’t it really?"
I've never seen a turd talk, Jon. The four-stringer continued:
"We’re really enjoying it. People can hype us up if they want. I think we’re a bit different. We just want to have a laugh. We just want people to enjoy themselves have a bit of a party. You just don’t take it too seriously. Music is music."
Unless it's shit, in which case it's shit. And The Twang release some shit, called 'Wide Awake', on March 19. It's well shit, mate.
