So you’re yet to hear owt about this year’s Truck Festival, huh? Us too, ‘til this dropped into our inbox, all crispy and fresh like the morning papers dipped in sizzling vegetable oil.
Presuming we’d battered ‘em first, course.
Dear all Truck-goers and aficionados,
This is just a quick note to provide a bit of correct information before the serious announcements begin next week.
The reason some things are happening later than usual this year is that with this being the 10th Truck festival, we have taken the opportunity to make some major alterations that will mean that Truck can carry the spirit and excitement of those two days in July all the way round the year and into the future.
We also wanted to make sure that the original Truck festival can stay at Hill Farm and keep its well-loved character.
All this has taken a bit of time but on Monday (April 2) we'll be ready to make an announcement about local ticket availability via the Truck website.
We will also tell you how to register to receive priority information on how to buy internet tickets as we want to make sure those who really want to come get tickets.
The festival will be on the weekend of July 21 and 22nd, with tickets priced £55. This covers camping on the Saturday and Sunday nights and means that parking can remain free, as well as covering our increased police bill, meaning that we don't have to make the festival bigger and turn it into just another identi-festival. The line-up will be of its usual strong and varied nature, selected by the same people as usual, and in fact everything will be the same as last year, only better. So, see you there.
Love, The Truckers
So there ‘ee go, Truck fans.
