Jealous? You should be: tours galore
domgourlay by Dom Gourlay April 5th, 2007

Leeds-based independent label Jealous Records has released singles by some of the most exciting bands in the country right now, and as if by some strange quirk of fate, several of them are heading out on the road - not all necessarily together - in the next few weeks.

First up are Dananananaykroyd (pictured), who are playing several dates over the next month or two, calling in at:

April
12 Glasgow Nice N Sleazy
15 Birmingham Sunflower Lounge

May
17 Dunfermline Carnegie Hall
18 Brighton The Great Escape

June
16 London Islington Academy (w/Neds Atomic Dustbin)
17 Leeds The Fenton
24 Liverpool Barfly (w/Deerhoof)

Experimental (and, more often than not, instrumental) noise terrorists That Fucking Tank also hit the high road starting this weekend, taking in:

April
7 Bradford Beehive
12 Stoke Underground (w/Your Codenameis:milo)
13 Nottingham Rock City Basement (w/Your Codenameis:milo)
20 Liverpool venue tbc
21 Leeds Common Place

May
1 Newcastle Upon Tyne Academy 2 (w/Your Codenameis:milo)
5 Bolton Dog and Partridge
6 Salford Salford Arms
7 Sunderland Independent (w/This Aint Vegas)

June
22 Leeds Library

Another Jealous-related band worth checking out this month is Copy Haho, who play the following dates:

April
11 Sunderland Independent This Aint
12 Glasgow Nice N Sleazy (w/Dananananaykroyd)
13 Aberdeen Tunnels
20 Glasgow ABC2

Hooray! Say The Roses play a spring-cum-summer triumverate of:

June
6 Newcastle Head of Steam

August
11 Bolton Dog and Partridge
