WIN! Tickets to The Rumble Strips and Stephanie Dosen
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver June 11th, 2007

Oooh, gigs. Ace. Free gigs? Better still.

DiS has three pairs of tickets to give away for upcoming, super-special shows by both The Rumble Strips and Stephanie Dosen (pictured). You can go, with a mate, or a loved one, or a mortal enemy, if you’re weird. It’s not like He-Man and Skeletor frequented the same bars on Eternia, y’know. At least, not at the same time.

London-based ska-rockers The Rumble Strips play an intimate show this weekend – on Sunday June 17 – at a sort-of-secret London location. Their single ‘Motorcycle’ was released last week, y’know. Perhaps you heard it? S'alright.

If you want to win tickets to this Rumble Strips show, you must be over 16. This show is not open to the public, at all, so don’t go looking for tickets. You can only win them. Yup. We'll tell you where the show is, as and when.

Ahead of that, we’ve got three pairs of tickets for Stephanie Dosen’s show, this Wednesday (June 13), at the Soho Revue Bar, London. Tickets are priced at £7 on the door, and are also available in advance for six quid. Or, you could win them here.

Dosen’s debut album, A Lily For The Spectre, is out now on Bella Union. Click here for the DiS review. If you want to win tickets for Stephanie Dosen, you must be over 18.

To win a pair of tickets, just e-mail me with the name of the artist you’d like to see in the subject line. Leave a phone number, too, so we can tell you that you’ve won.

Competitions close tomorrow (June 12) at 1pm. Good luck!
