WIN! Tickets to Bella Union's 10th Anniversary shows...
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver July 3rd, 2007

Next week, one of the nation's - nay, the world's - finest indie labels turns ten years old. Bella Union aren't just great, though - we also like to think of them as our friends. Which is lucky for you, as it means we're able to blag some awesome tickets to give away...

We've two pairs of tickets for each of the label's 10th Anniversary shows, taking place next week at London's Royal Festival Hall. The bills, they are as follows:

July 10, London Royal Festival Hall
Howling Bells
Fionn Regan (pictured)
My Latest Novel
Beach House

July 11, London Royal Festival Hall
Midlake
The Dears
Stephanie Dosen
The Kissaway Trail

Tickets - should you not win - are available from here, unless they've already sold out. Sorry, didn't check. And hey, get this: Jason Lee of My Name Isn't Jason Lee fame is only flying all the way over from the USA to see Midlake, allegedly. Point at him! He is on the TV!

Add dates to your gig calendar here and here

TO WIN TICKETS: simply answer this...

Bella Union's Simon Raymonde used to be in what band?

Simple! E-mail your answer - writing Bella Competition in the subject line - to COMPETITION CLOSED - WINNERS CONTACTED right away, with your answer, a contact telephone number, and a note specifying which show you want to attend. One entry per show! Winners will be contacted on Monday, July 9.

To whet the appetite further, why not read our Label Focus on Bella Union, HERE.
