Secret Furry Animals Lounge on the Farm
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly July 5th, 2007

'Boutique festival'...is that a term in common parlance? Why, I wasn't aware such a term existed! How marvellous.

"Legendary rock stars Super Furry Animals have announced they are playing a headline slot at this summer's most exclusive boutique festival..."

There's more than one!

"...Lounge On the Farm to an intimate crowd of 2000, their smallest gig in 5 years."

That sounds alright, dunnit? Apparently The Bees have just been confirmed too. The Welsh 'rock stars' were formerly the festival's secret headliners. Now it's about as secret as a secret gig, because DiS has told y'all! Fancy.

Who else is playing? Check below:

Alabama 3
The Noisettes
Wild Billy Childish & The Musicians Of The British Empire
The Dub Pistols
Kitty, Daisy & Lewis
Circulus
Los Del Abajo
Foreign Beggars
Example
DJ Andy Smith
Justin Robertson
Underground Heroes
Fanfarlo
Ripchord
The Moths
The Draytones
Dr Rubberfunk
Lord Large
J*Star
The Dualers
Super Imposers
Sportsday Megaphone
The Beep Seals
Motion Pictures
The Metros
Sonny Jim
Porpoise Corpus

There are a tonne more bands, but they're names are formatted differently here, so I take it those above are the 'main' acts.

Lounge on the Farm takes place over three days in the hills of Canterbury; from 13-15th of July. That's next weekend, so hurry up if you want tickets - get them here; £45 if you're an adult looking to spend the weekend, £20 the day; kids go half price. Family tickets are also available, click the link for details.
