Reveal Records of Derby have launched their own record label.
The store, winners of Music Week's 'Best Independent Music Retailer' earlier this year, will issue records from three artists: Antony and the Johnsons band member Joan As Policewoman (pictured), Deep Elem and Kris Drever.
Tom Rose, owner of Reveal, said:
"The label has come about because through our shop we are constantly swamped by independent music that is brilliant. The music is why we started the label and through signing brilliant musicians we will endeavour to help our artists gain a much wider audience and for their songs to be heard. As such, with the label we hope to imitate the success of the store.”
