A fatal shooting at a US cinema earlier this month was not directly linked to said establishment's screening of the controversy-courting 50 Cent flick, Get Rich Or Die Tryin'.
The shooting, reported on here, saw 30-year-old Shelton Flowers die from three bullet wounds following an argument. A man, Larue Graves, has since been arrested and police say there is only one connection: that the two men served time together in gaol.
Graves had been granted parole in 2004 after doing time for voluntary manslaughter. Police have not stated what Mr Flowers was prisoned for. Get Rich Or Die Tryin' opens in the UK on January 20th. Critics reckon it's proper shite.
