Leeds' finest success story of 2005, Kaiser Chiefs, are to headline next year's Heineken Green Energy festival in Dublin.
The band will appear alongside a number of established acts, including Ian Brown, Snow Patrol and Graham Coxon. Last year's performers included the Black Eyed Peas and Faithless. No real need to say, then, that 2006's bill looks a little better. Whoops.
The festival, in its eleventh year, takes place at Dublin Castle over the bank holiday weekend in April, Friday to Sunday. Tickets go on sale later this week.
