Bella the ball! New website = free exclusive downloads!
domgourlay by Dom Gourlay February 17th, 2006
To celebrate the launch of their redesigned (and rather wonderful) new website, Bella Union will be hosting their own little FREE download festival next month. For each week in March you will be able to download an exclusive track from their roster for free. Simply click HERE for details…

Featured artists include The Dears, My Latest Novel, Howling Bells, Dirty Three and a special (secret) collaborative track…

Week 1: (March 2nd – 5th)
Howling Bells – The Wild
'The Wild' is the brilliant b-side to debut single 'Wishing Stone' (released 27th February) or “The sound of PJ Harvey hitching a ride with the Velvet Underground through Twin Peaks.” according to the NME.

Week 2: (March 6th - 12th)
My Latest Novel – The Not So Reverend
This is the b-side taken from the band’s ltd edition sold-out debut single 'Sister Sneaker Sister Soul'. The band’s debut album 'Wolves' is released next month…

Week 3: (March 13th – 19th)
The Dears – There Goes My Outfit
This is a little taster of things to come when The Dears release their hotly-anticipated follow-up to 'No Cities Left' later this year. This track is a brand new demo that was recorded just a couple of months ago with Murray on acoustic guitar and vocals.

Week 4: (March 20th – 26th)
Dirty Three - To Aster
The lead track from their Bella Union debut. “Dirty Three are less a band, more a force of nature” (The Times)

Week 5: (March 27th – 31st)
Secret Track
You'll have to wait to see what this rather special track is!

Happy downloading...
