Guitarist and vocalist Lee Irons has left indie-rockers The Departure.
Artistic differences are being cited by remaining band members. A statement reads:
"Lee's contribution to The Departure has been great and we will miss him dearly, he is still a dear friend and the decision was strictly a professional one. We wish Lee all the best of luck for the future."
The band are continuing to work on their second album.
