Thanks, Pitchfork...
Les Savy Fav - probably the best (live) band in the world - are to release a couple of goodies to whet the appetite for possible future stuff. Well, we say 'to release', one such morsel is already out.
A digital EP is available now through eMusic. Entitled Plagues & Snakes and featuring the songs 'Raging in the Plague Age' and 'Wake up a Snake', the two-tracker was previously only available in Australia (via Popfrenzy Records).
The two tracks were recorded back in late 2005 in the band's hometown of New York.
Vinyl lovers, quit your cryin': the four-piece also release a seven-inch, 'Hit By A Car'/'Hit By A Train', through Chicago label Rococo in April. Limited to just 1,000 copies, it comes on fancy clear-green wax.
Like that wasn't enough fresh LSF juice - and we really can't ever get enough of it - how's this: Frenchkiss are to reissue the band's debut album, 3/5, with bonus bits 'n' pieces. It'll be out in July.
Holy crapola we've just shat our pants with deeee-light.
