Digital channel BBC 3 has announced its plans for greater live music coverage. The channel will broadcast footage from Reading and Leeds this summer, along with Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee and T in the Park.
The channel's controller Julian Bellamy told folk with notepads:
"This signals BBC 3's intention to have more live music events of real scale on the channel. I'm particularly excited to be collaborating with Radio 1 for the station's Big Weekend for the first time, and to be bringing BBC 3 viewers coverage of the Reading and Leeds festivals for the first time as well."
I don't have digital telly yet, but I'm thinking about getting one of those Freeview boxes at the weekend. Do you reckon I should get one with the Top-Up TV option, or is that cack? Is there actually anything on Freeview apart from repeats of Friends?
