Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, is to act as host at a pop concert this summer.
The Live Life Loud event is to be staged at Windsor Great Park - click here for further info - with the Prince presumably introducing the acts. He sayeth:
"I am sure the event will be a memorable experience."
Thanks, Ed. Look at him, there. Laughing. Crazy. Among the acts confirmed to appear on July 22 and 23 are Sugababes, Craig David and Lemar. Around 50,000 people are expected to attend.
The Sugababes remarked (collectively, apparently):
"We're all really excited to be playing. Actually, it's quite an honour to be invited by HRH Prince Edward to perform in front of Windsor Castle.
"We can't wait to meet him and thank him ourselves as we've heard he's quite cheeky! And, before you ask, we're not going to do a Spice Girls and pinch his bum. We've got more respect than that."
That's right, they're gonna pinch his wallet. Good girls, good girls...
