Hypermagic Mountain giveaway!
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver April 18th, 2006

Rhode Island's two-piece noise-oiks Lightning Bolt are totally touring the UK in May. Perhaps you know this as we already ran a story telling you so; look, it's over there on the right! Wow, links are madfresh. But how's this for a bonus: we, your lovely DiS, have procured FIVE copies of LB's mighty Hypermagic Mountain album, released last year, to give away to our beloved readers. That's you.

Yep, these babies are all wrapped up and ready to be storked to their final place of residence, and if you want your shelf to be that place - somewhere between Les Savy Fav and Low would be super - just answer this question:

Mountains, Hypermagic or otherwise, are generally large, while molehills are not. That said, some moles are really ugly - the naked molerat for example. But that's entirely beside the point, the point being this question: the film Caddyshack starred Bill Murray, but what did Murray say, as Dr Peter Venkman, in the 1984 motion picture Ghostbusters following his unfortunate sliming? Was it...

A) "I feel that Rick Moranis' talents have been wasted with this minor role. Still, at least he hasn't been shrinking any darn kids."
B) "I feel so funky."
C) "I feel that this 'actual physical contact' that Ray praises so very enthusiastically may count against me when, some years from now, I find myself in a compromising situation with a young American girl while shooting whiskey adverts in Tokyo."

Do send your answer to mike.diver@drownedinsound.com by this Friday, April 21. Write "Bill Murray is my dad's mother's brother's cousin" in the subject line or your e-mail WILL NOT be opened. At all. Ever. Not even by accident. Please provide your address so we know where to send the CD, if you win. THANKS.

Here are those tour dates, case you missed 'em before. Go see, do...
