Malcolm Middleton - he of fifty per cent of Arab Strap fame - is about to begin work on a new solo record, the follow-up to last year's excellent Into The Woods.
Middleton sent an e-mail to a selection of good folk:
"I now have a MySpace site because everyone else has one. I'll maybe put up some new demos in the coming months but I can't guarantee it because I lose interest in stuff like this as you can probably tell by the state of my website and lack of news etc."
Recently returned from a US tour with Arab Strap, Middleton also has a live album coming. Malcolm Middleton - Live At The Bush Hall is one of those does-what-it-says-on-the-tin jobs, we assume; look out for it later this year.
