So-hot-right-now pair Gnarls Barkley are to follow their smash-hit single 'Crazy' with 'Smiley Faces', due out on July 17.
The duo's current radio-conquering track racked up an impressive nine weeks at number one, only slipping from the top spot once label bosses decided to delete it. Up 'til now, the song has shifted in excess of 700,000 copies, and its stay at the chart's summit was the longest since Wet Wet Wet's 'Love Is All Around' in 1994.
The duo's album, St Elsewhere, debuted at number one in the UK album charts, meaning that (albeit temporarily) Gnarls Barkley enjoyed a one-two-three of simultaneous single, album and airplay domination.
Gnarls Barkley play the Wireless Festival later this month, appearing alongside Massive Attack, The Flaming Lips and DJ Shadow.
