American rapper DMX has been issued with an arrest warrant, after he failed to show up at an already re-scheduled court date.
DMX - real name Earl Simmons - was originally due in court in New York on June 16, to answer a charge of speeding and erratic driving dating from June 2. That date was moved back to June 21, but his no-show left the court with no choice but to issue a warrant.
Judge Barbara Leak said:
"We have granted him a number of courtesies. It ends now."
This isn't DMX's only legal problem, though: he's due in court in New Jersey next month, again with regard to reckless driving charges.
Someone, hide the man's keys.
Update! 30 June: They catched him, catched him good!
