A 40-year anniversary compilation of covers for Radio One will feature a Franz Ferdinand and Girls Aloud collaboration on a David Bowie track.
The Scottish indie-rockers, who will work with songwriting team Xenomania on the next Girls Aloud album, have joined the girls for a stab at Bowie's 'Sound And Vision', after Alex Kapranos met Sarah Harding at the NME awards in March.
Sacrilege it may be, but DiS is curious as to how this one might sound.
The comp will also feature Maximo Park's cover of JT's 'Like I Love You' and Corinne Bailey Rae getting her claws into 'Steady As She Goes' by the Raconteurs.
