Baltimore’s party-sparkers/boredom-wreckers the Death Set will be in the UK soon to promote the release of their debut album.
That record is out through Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records on the 7th of April, before even native North America gets it; Worldwide’s a shrapnel packed volley of blastbeat chaos, and it reads something like this:
‘Solve It’
‘Listen to This Collision’
‘Negative Thinking’
‘Intermission’
‘Spaz’
‘Cold Teeth’
‘Around the World’
‘Impossible’
‘Superzero’
‘Day in the Wife’
‘Bla!’
‘Moving Forward’
‘MFDS’
‘Had a Bird’
‘Peak Oil’
‘This Song’
‘Heard It All Before’
‘Selective Memories’
This’ll be beaten out by an album sampler-cum-EP called MFDS, shorthand for the band’s extended moniker ‘the MotherFuckingDeathSet’, on the 11th of February.
And yeah, live dates:
February
11 Brighton Water Margin
12 Manchester TBC (Bad Uncle club night)
13 Leeds Brudenell Social Club
14 Northampton/Oxford TBC
15 London Bardens Boudoir (not a matinee)
15 London Electrowerkz (later show)
16 Nottingham Stealth
MotherFuckingDone.
