All of the repackaged albums are to consist of the original tracks re-mastered in their original running order, plus live versions, outtakes, B-sides and handpicked demos, all from the Sonic Youth archives.
DVD versions of 'Screaming Fields Of Sonic Love', 'The Goo That Lives On In My Heart', and '1991: The Year Punk Broke' are also planned with band members screening additional material and planning special features for the DVDs "to make these titles even more special."
Exact release dates have yet to be set for any of the re-issues or DVDs
Meanwhile, the band is concentrating on finishing their new album having been "Interrupted, but far from deterred" by the recent NYC events, with the sessions having "an urgency that should come across in the final mixes." The album will be the first to feature a fully-integrated Jim O'Rourke as both performer and co-producer.
