"Bomb The Pentagon" hasn't made the new album though: which is entitled 'EVIL HEAT'. Following the collapse of Creation Records, Primal Scream are now on subsidary multinational conglomerate Columbia (part of the Sony coporation, who own CBS), who release the 'Evil', (ahem) on August 5th, preceded with the single 'Miss Lucifer', complete with remixes from Alec Empire.
As with previous release "XTRMNTR" it features a lot of collaborations; this time with regular guests Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine, who toured with them recently), Andy Weatherall, Jagz Kooner (aka Two lone Swordsmen and Sabres Of Paradise) returning, as well as Jim Reid (ex-Jesus And Mary Chain) and fogey Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin on harmonica...
A long rumoured collaboration with Supermodel Kate Moss 'Some Velvet Morning' (a cover of a Nancy Sinatra tune) may yet make the tracklist: despite alledgely being unfinished, It's been floating around online for ages now.
The tracklisting currently runs:
'Deep Hit Of Morning Sun'
'Miss Lucifer'
'Autobahn 66'
'Detroit'
'Rise'
'The Lord Is My Shotgun'
'Skull X'
'City'
'A Scanner Darkly'
'Space Blues No. 2'

With his other books having been adapted into the films ('Blade Runner', 'Total Recall' and 'Minority Report'), its no surprise that Hollywood have optioned the book of the same name...
