We'll be honest - Tough Love Records is one of our favourite independent labels out there right now, having released some of the very best in home-grown music in the last few years. That Favours For Sailors EP last year was MASSIVELY BOSS.
They split up, though. Shame. Yet, there's still an absolute tonne of bands on the label, including the equally brilliant William and Calories. The good thing about both of these bands is that they're just about to release one of those rare, but appreciated things - a split 7", double A-side, entitled...erm...think Calories & William 7". Or something. Unfortunately we couldn't track down a picture of both of the band together, so we just stuck Calories up there. Hope William don't mind!
Anyway, it's the latest in their series of splits and is released February 15. We've got a totally free couple of downloads for you to, yep, download. How kind of us, and, of course, Tough Love. The track by Calories is called 'The Mortal Boys' and the one by William is 'Lustreless'. They're both short, sweet, and tasty, too.
All of the tracks are previously unreleased and can be listened to and downloaded below. To download, click the arrow on the SoundCloud widget below. Easy.
