Listen: Caribou remixes, mixtapes
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater March 3rd, 2010

All of us at Drowned in Sound (apart from the delinquent ones, of course) are all fired up for Dan Snaith a.k.a Caribou's new record Swim, which is released on April 19 through City Slang. It was the release of 'Odessa' into the wild which did for us. It was almost too much to take in one go.

Alongside that free download, you'll be mighty pleased to know that Mr Snaith has just uploaded some nifty remixes of his work on his SoundCloud page, featuring contributions from Four Tet and Hot Chip which previously featured as b-sides.

Caribou - Shes The One (Hot Chip Remix)  by  Caribouband

Caribou - She's The One (Kelley Polar's Hughes Wilson Prom Night In Hell Version)  by  Caribouband

In addition to the remixes, a couple of meatier tour mixtapes have also been posted. Indulge below.

There's also been a video floating around for 'Odessa', taken from the new record. If the rest of Swim is anything near half as good as 'Odessa', Snaith is onto a 10/10 record. Watch it below:
