Listen: Download Gayngs - 'Faded High'
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater April 23rd, 2010

Last week Stereogum 'premiered' or 'hosted' a download from the new Gayngs record, entitled Relayted. That track was 'Faded High' and fortunately for us and you the people at their label, Jagjaguwar, have made this available for everyone to download. Not that you couldn't before...but yeah.

You can get your hands on a digital copy of 'Faded High' by clicking here. It's well worth the little effort, I promise, as it moves from an early expansive space-music opening into something altogether more melodic. It does, however, contain a vocal run which is not dissimilar to DJ Luck and MC Neat's smash hit from about a decade ago, honest.

Anyway, they release the aforementioned Relayted on May 17. You're in luck if you like this lot, because the record is being streamed in full on an American radio station, The Current. Go here to listen to the whole thing. You can also get an mp3 for 'The Gaudy Side Of Town' by clicking here.

Artwork for it is that cultish-looking thing below:
