Kurt Vile announces handful of European dates for 2012
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater November 15th, 2011

Earlier this week Kurt Vile followed up the most excellent Smoke Ring For My Halo with an EP of tracks which didn't appear on that album, called So Outta Reach. It wasn't quite as good, but that was to be expected. Still Smoke Ring was and is one of the year's finest. Regardless he's just announced a quartet of European dates for next February, two of which are in the UK. Have a butcher's below for specifics.

February: 20 - Brighton, The Haunt
21 - London, KOKO
22 - Paris, Le Nouveau Casino
23 - Botanique, Brussels

Occasionally we pad out these news stories with videos. However, in this case although that appears to be what we're doing; we aren't. This is no padding, it's Kurt Vile performing 'Baby's Arms' for a Take Away Show. It's fucking brilliant.
