SikTh return with a Dead Day
-Raz- by Raziq Rauf January 11th, 2006

The mighty Hertfordshire chaos-core band, SikTh are to release the follow-up to 'The Trees Are Dead And Dried Out, Wait For Something Wild' in May 2006. There is more to celebrate as, in addition to this grand news, the sextet will be touring.

The not-depressingly-titled-at-all 'Death Of A Dead Day' will be released internationally and was produced by the band themselves in Miami and (obviously) features all new material. Track titles may include 'Picaroon', 'Flogging The Horses' and 'Sanguine Seas Of Bigotry'. Where do they come up with this shit?

Mikee Goodman and Justin Hill are fresh from a couple of dates performing cameo vocals with This Is Menace and, totally unrelatedly, SikTh are to play 8 gigs in France but we don't really care about them so I'll just list the short tour they've lined up for the start of April.

April
6th Birmingham Barfly
7th York Fibbers
8th Glasgow Barfly
9th Liverpool Barfly
10th Cardiff Barfly
11th London Barfly

DiScuss: When you read the dates, did you keep trying to guess what kinda venue the next town would be? Or did you kinda get that they're all Barfly clubs. Yes, even the Fibbers is a Barfly.
