According to The New York Daily News, Joey Ramone, the 49 year-old singer of legendary New York punk act The Ramones is suffering from lymphoma. A band spokesperson suggested that the singer may be on a path to recovery: "Joey watched a tape of 'The Sopranos' on Wednesday. He's doing better and better." No information was given as to when Ramone was diagnosed or how advanced the cancer is.
